Dr Samantha Ravich has taken over the post of an independent board member of the International Game Technology, London. The appointment came into effect on the 30th of July.
The newly appointed board member has also joined the IGT’s Committee of Nominating and Corporate Governance.
The Chairperson of the IGT’s Board of Directors, Lorenzo Pellicioli issued the statement: “Samantha’s extensive experience, and focus on cybersecurity, are welcome complements to the existing expertise of our board members.”
Dr Ravich has an impressive list of credentials and IGT welcomes her among its other decision-makers.
Dr Ravich is a chairperson of the Center on Cyber and Technology Innovation at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and its Transformative Cyber Innovation Lab. She is also the vice-chairperson of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board.
On top of her remarkable achievements, she was Deputy National Security Advisor for Vice President Cheney. She also holds a PhD in Policy Analysis from the RAND Graduate School.
