Esports Entertainment Group Inc. has just disclosed that it has finalized the procurement of LHE Enterprises Ltd., the holding company behind Argyll Entertainment AG, one of the fastest-growing sportsbook and casino operators in the iGaming industry. Argyll Entertainment, which runs its shops in Ireland and the United Kingdom, leverages its far-reaching skills in technology, risk management, regulation and marketing to offer a secure and player-friendly online gambling experience for all its customers.
While Argyll Entertainment is still considered a new kid on the block in the iGaming industry, the company managed to make some impressive strides that have contributed to its trailblazing success. In 2018, for instance, the company won the Innovative Startup of the Year during the 2018 EGR Marketing and Innovation Awards, right after rolling out its top-notch brand, sportsnation.bet a year before.
For their new partnership, Esports Entertainment star CEO Grant Johnson emphasized how this acquisition was an important constituent of their growth strategy. Given that this is the company’s first acquisition as a NASDAQ listed company, it is a tremendous milestone for them that readies them for a more robust future as a trendsetter.
CEO Johnson added that in 2019 alone, Argyll accrued revenue worth $12 million thanks to an impressive platform that boasts of over 100,000 registered users. He indicated that his team plans to leverage the strong foundation that Argyll already has to realize its future targets.
Argyll CFO Dan Marks and CEO Stuart Tilly have now joined Esports Entertainment’s senior leadership as CFO and corporate secretary respectively.
