As of today, the GiG known as the Gaming Innovation Group has just announced it is appointing a new chief information officer responsible for the developments of the company’s new technological innovations. The new chief will be Chris Armes. Not only will responsibilities fall on him, but he will also be directly reporting to Robin Reed, who is the chief executive officer. Together, this will form the C-level management team that will operate within the largest jurisdiction of the GiG.
In terms of experience, Chris was previously working for NYX Gaming or known as SG Digital. As Chief Technology Officer, Chris has already learned how to take strategies when it comes to the future development of new products and designs within the world of online gaming. The main purpose of Chris’s new placement is to make sure that the GiG becomes the nest for pioneers in iGaming technology and bring in stronger target markets as well. Having performed more than 60 M&A’s throughout his career, Chris will be sure brought in more complex audiences that will benefit the company in the long run with much broader feedback.
To help ease him into the position, Chris will also be working closely with Jonathan Gauci, Stephen Borg and Jan Flores, who will be performing in production management and data direction. With this team of professionals, GiG plans to make leading developments not just into the technology, but through its platform services.
