Lottoland will donate 20p for every £1 ($1.22) wager placed on the new Win-Win Lotto to four different charities: the Marine Conservation Society, Keep Britain Tidy, Hospice UK and The British Red Cross.
Each ticket goes for only £1, and every draw which will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays has a fixed jackpot worth a cool £250,000. The draw’s format will be based on the French’s official Lotto, with 5 balls drawn out of the total 49, and 10 extra balls up for grabs as part of the bonus.
Mike Crossley, the Director for Fundraising for The Marine Conservation Society, expressed his joy, indicating how valuable the funds will be at such a trying time for charities.
Nigel Birrell, the CEO of Lottoland, also released a statement, saying that they were excited with the launch of their new product that will donate funds to 4 charity organizations to boost their causes. He also indicated that Lottoland had worked round the clock in delivering the lottery game, indicating that giving back to the society is a core component of its business.
Making remarks regarding the same, Director of Fundraising and Marketing at The Marine Conservation Society Mike Crossley said that the launch of the lottery game will be of great importance as various charities need extra support during the current COVID-19 pandemic and that they were grateful. He added that the donations will be immeasurably useful in their work fighting for a clean, better-protected ocean environment for a better future where a man can coexist with nature and thrive.
