New guidelines and policies have spurred action from the Malta Gaming Authority in order to ensure complete compliance with the new regulations. The response, specifically, to the Gaming Commercial Communications Regulations is the formation of a Commercial Communications Committee. The main objective of this committee will be to address the communication channels within the establishment and identify any potential breaches in security.
Further objectives for this committee is to help out with the security and safety of casino players as a whole. In other words, it will further assist the MGA’s missions to offer more protection for the player when it comes to responsible gambling. The Commercial Communications Guidelines will be known as just.
The main individuals that the Guidelines hope to help are authorities that offer licenses, casinos and gambling establishments that are looking for one, those who take part in the gambling services and anyone else that falls under this directory. The goal is to help reassure them of the new regulations that are taking place and to keep up to date with all the rules that may affect them in the future.
It is not a substitute for the regulations themselves, but rather a sign in the right directions towards those that are in power. They reflect the purpose of the MGA but do not bend any of the rules that come with them. Nothing about their original policies have changed, and if they have, it shall be this committee that will inform them on the very matter.
All decisions by the committee will be seen on the official MGA website, under the subpage of Commercial Communications Committee. Here, anything that has changed will be listed and available to be seen by those that it affects, gambler or otherwise.
