The Malta Gaming Authority hosted a united delegation of the Spelinspektionen in August. This is more known as the regulatory authority that governs the licenses and regulations on gambling services within the country of Sweden. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by both parties following the authorization of such an event.
During this visit, the event was able to coincide with the recent activity performed by the Swedish gambling license regime, as well as working with the Maltese gambling regime during the month of its active business. This provided the perfect opportunity for both parties to unite in the delegation and speak clearly with one another regarding the recent happenings with the online gambling world. This included exchanging practices with one another and strategizing better ways of enacting the regulations of gambling within Sweden. The biggest benefit of this collaboration is that both of the parties will be able to offer more services to the operators that regulate within the gambling market.
Both MGA and the Spelinspektionen were hosting presentations regarding numerous subjects that need to be looked at. This includes anti-money laundering, chances of criminal activity, financial issues, player security and protection, responsible gaming and many others that include data statistics. The discussions lasted over two days which covered these areas of question.
After the news regarding new laws and regulations, the MGA is happily welcoming any opportunity to speak about these matters and hopes to discuss them with other parties so that better standards can be set. Their aim, as always, is to create the ideal platform for gambling services to commit their business without any worry or fear of outside sources interfering. Sharing knowledge and working together is their goal to help create a better online gambling world.
