Danske Spil, the upcoming gaming operator controlled by the state of Denmark, has just been appointed a new Chief Financial Officer. Søren Skovdal Rasmussen will be taking the position, being placed in charge of the finances for the company.
Soren will be starting this new job at the beginning of November, after his previous job as working at Kort & Godt A/S. Back then, he was working as the chief executive, running many of their daily activities and procedures.
The position was readily available after the previous owner of the vacancy, Auning-Hansen, had accepted a new position and is now working as a chief financial officer for Joe & The Juice. Not only as this position but an as a direct partner.
To complement the experience that got him this position, Rasmussen has already worked as a chief financial officer before. DSB was another previous workplace of his. He performed so well that he was even awarded the position of Deputy Director of Strategy.
The Chief Executive of Danske Spil, Susanne Mørch Koch, issued a statement after the reveal of its new CFO. She said: “For the election of Søren Skovdal Rasmussen it was crucial that he has a unique combination of strong financial and strategic experience combined with a deep insight into retail, including the turnover our products have in retail”.
After being presented with many strong candidates for the job, Rasmussen appeared as a perfect choice for the future of the company.
Rasmussen himself also issued a comment about his newfound position. He says that it has always been a strong desire for him to work with the financial side of things. Dealing with the numbers and always making sure that things look up. He looks to helping Danske Spil succeed in more ways than one putting his vast experience to the test.
