Quickspin Sequel Marks The Return Of The Sticky Bandits

31 Jul 2019

Presented by software provider, Quickspin, the sequel to the hit slot title, Sticky Bandits: Wild Return is about to make a triumphant return to a life of crime in the old Wild West. Since the last title was incredibly popular, another addition to this cowboy adventure was not too far behind.

In this game, the Sticky Bandits make their dreadful return to rob and plunder from the banks of America. This time it will be an action-packed train robbery where the bandits plan to make their daring escape. They even have a new addition to their team – a terrifying female bandit who has proven her worth countless times. With the bandits being tougher, bigger and wider, the players will need to work twice as hard in order to secure their marvelous treasures. One of the newest features is the Shootout mechanic that can turn the bandits into Sticky Wilds, proving more ways to win.

Chief Product Officer of Quickspin, Erik Gullstrand, talks about the events that led to creating this new exciting game. “So, one day the team got talking about it and we wondered what it would be like to do a follow up with the same bandits and what that might look like”.

They wanted to make the story consistent and continue the narrative from the previous game.

They wanted the bandits to grow as characters, as well as introduce a new character that will become popular with other members of their target markets. The game deserves to be on a much grander scale than the last one, but still, incorporate the classic game mechanics that come from the last one. The first Sticky Bandits became popular for a reason, not just with the players but with the team itself. It is a cherished game for them and has become the driving point towards the plan in making a sequel.
