The Scout Gaming Group, one of the most prominent suppliers of B2B fantasy sports products, is poised to launch another Premier League fantasy contest dubbed The Quarter Million after the tremendous success with the 2019 season.
For the 2020-2021 season, there will be a guaranteed €1 million prize pool with 50,000 entries for participants going for €25 only per seat. Additionally, there’s also going to be an exclusive high-roller event running simultaneously where interested players will part with €2,625 each for a seat at the table.
A €200,000 jackpot prize is up for grabs for the winner of the contest, but 1,249 more players will have some cash rewards to relish by the time the season will come to an end. At the end of each week and month of the action-packed season, the best managers will be earning portions of the prize pot.
Andreas Sundal, Scout Gaming’s co-founder and Chief Product Officer, released a statement after the company’s announcement, saying that this is the first time the fantasy Premier League contest will have such a massive amount of money in the pot. Sundal went ahead to explain that his company was able to offer the record-breaking prize pool because of the ever-growing fan-base of the official Fantasy Premier League game that boasts of 6-7 million active players.
Presently, the Scout Gaming Group offers a range of fantasy sports betting games based on some of the most popular sports, including cricket, tennis, American football, MMA, baseball, soccer, and even eSports. These fantasy games are usually available in a range of leagues that are celebrated in specific local markets and the global market as a whole. Better yet, Scout also offers fantasy games such as Points Duels and Over/Under to allow players to compete even when they aren’t playing the same sports.
