Slotegrator, an iGaming leader in the supply of business solutions and software aggregation, has revealed its line of attack for the take over the Ukrainian gaming market. Slotegrtor’s plans come as the Ukrainian government looks to conclude the blueprint of its regulated market by-laws after the Head of State, President Volodymyr Zelensky, signed in Bill-2285D into law in August.
Although the Bill, 2285-D, which regulates betting in Ukraine was voted in with a majority win (248-95), it has still left a lot of queries unanswered. Regardless of the controversy that still stands over a few crucial points of the fine print, Slotegrator maintains that game content suppliers and casino operators who genuinely want to enter the gaming arena shouldn’t see this as a warning sign. Even with the remaining obstacles, the software aggregator is urging all its industry counterparts that Ukraine is moving in the right direction. Furthermore, the president himself is watching the development of the betting regulation closely.
Currently, the Ukrainian Betting Law indicates that the government will create a legalized gambling market for eight different disciplines, including online casinos, online sports betting, land-based casinos, retail sports gambling, lotteries, online poker, slot machine and totalizer contracts.
Being a vital player within the Eastern Europe marketplace, Slotegrator has been keeping a close eye on the Ukrainian betting industry’s road to regulation, after gambling prohibition for nearly a decade. As analysts have put it, this is a historic moment for Ukraine and the Eastern European market at large, and Slotegrator wants to be one of the first iGaming brands to make a presence in the market right out of the gate.
