Riot Games finally announces that their long-awaited game, VALORANT, will soon make it out of beta phase for an official launch. Following two months of rigorous beta testing, the fantasy shooter game from Riot Games is now ready for a 2nd June debut across six planned gaming regions around the world. The first real version of the game will be blasting in Brazil, North America, South Korea, Oceania, and Japan.
With the beta version now at its final stage, Riot Games announced that all accounts will be reset and they are also working on introducing some adjustments and quick patches ahead of May 28, which is the day when VALORANT beta version dies.
With the official launch around the corner, Riot Games is also planning to bring a lot more freebies to the table during the launch ceremony as promised by Anna Donlon, the executive producer for VALORANT. Moreover, Riot Games will also offer a new map plus a whole new armory of cutting-edge weapons.
Throughout the beta testing period, VALORANT accrued a huge fan base of over 3 million daily active players, with streaming numbers breaking the viewership records on Twitch after getting a whopping 1.7 million live viewers. The Riot Games team is however vigilant on cheating, and over 1,600 suspected cheaters have had their accounts suspended.
As we speak, top outfits in the eSports world such as Team Secret, Cloud9, Immortals, Dignitas, and Team SoloMid have already registered for tournaments as they await the game’s premiere.
