Sports betting giant William Hill has officially broken fresh ground in West Virginia’s sports betting market by releasing its online sportsbook and mobile betting application. The UK sports betting bigwig will now be the fourth mobile sportsbook application to be launched in the Mountain State, following Fanduel DraftKings and BetMGM.
The new mobile app will also allow players in West Virginia to load and cash out like on the main site, and features such as live scoring game casts and in-built registration will also be accessible on the go.
With the entry into the West Virginia sports betting space, the sportsbook guru now has its reins on 11 USA states and the District of Columbia. William Hill’s mobile betting service is, however, only accessible in four states: Nevada, New Jersey, Iowa, and, most recently, West Virginia. On top of that, the bookmaker also powers trading services in the mobile app of the Rhode Island Lottery.
William Hill’s launch of its online and mobile betting service in the Mountain State comes a week after the bookmaker finalized its buy out of CG Technology, to assume control of six casinos in Nevada. This brings the total of William Hill’s operations across the USA to 150 locations, and it looks like the company won’t be slowing down anytime soon.
Moreover, the sportsbook operator is already in talks over a possible merger with Caesars! Should it happen, William Hill is poised to become a household name in the USA’s sports betting industry, right there at the top with DraftKings and FanDuel.
