VIXIO GamblingCompliance, a leader in the provision of online legal, regulatory and business intelligence to the world’s gambling market, has announced the winners of its Global Regulatory Awards in the event that was held on the 29th of October. Like many other gaming industry awards shows and conferences, VIXIO’s awards ceremony was held as a virtual event to abide by the current Coronavirus safety precautions.
The prestigious Global Regulatory Awards event is held each year to celebrate and honor persons and teams who worked relentlessly to take new strides for the compliance and responsible gaming standards of the gambling industry. There were 18 different categories on last Friday’s event with the most iconic winners being the likes of Genting Casino UK, who bagged three trophies. Two of Genting’s accolades were for John Duffy, the company’s Director of Corporate Assurance & Regulatory Affairs, who was announced the winner of the Chief Compliance Officer of the Year category and the Head of Regulatory Affairs/Government Relations award.
GeoComply and William Hill also won big, with both of them adding two Global Regulatory Awards accolades to their trophy cabinets. Richard Flint, the former Chief Executive of Sky Bet, also had a night to remember after bagging the Lifetime Achievement Award for his broadminded work to make the gambling industry safer. Log on to the official awards website at GamblingComplianceAwards.com for a closer look at the full list of winners for 2020’s event.
This is the fourth year that the Global Regulatory Awards have been held since the first event was held back in 2017.
