If on your first two cards you manage to get a total hand value that’s worth between 0-7, then the third card rules are usually followed. They are as follows:

For all the values between 0-5, you will be forced to draw a third card
If you get a value of 6 or 7, you will be forced to stand
As already mentioned, if you manage a value of 8 or 9, then you have a natural and you’ll have to stand

How Is the Live Dealer Baccarat Outcome Determined?
